Checking Clinics
NCYH will offer three checking clinics for the 2024 off season. One session in the spring and two sessions in summer. Below are all three clinics information - registration links are to the right side of page- You have to scroll down to see all of them.

These clinic groups will be broken up by age, size, and skill level and placed in one of the two groupings. There are no requests for sessions.

Strongly recommended for Bantams (BY 2011-2012), especially first year Bantams and encouraged for Pee Wees

details
Cover fundamentals of taking and receiving a body check
Do’s and Don’t’s of body contact
Will put body contact into practice through small area games and full ice scrimmage
Kids will be broken up by age, size, and skill level and placed in one of the two groupings
You will be contacted by the NCYH Hockey Directors letting you know which time your ice session will be.
No group/schedule requests- Groups will not be sent out until 2-3 weeks prior to the clinic
